We are currently aware of 11 trials of remdesivir in COVID-19. The number of patients to be studied in the masked trials is 2,061 out of 22,437 in total (9.2%). The results of the remdesivir use program suggest, but do not prove, that the benefits of remdesivir may outweigh the harm it might cause.
