A semi-recumbent position (≧ 30 °) can reduce clinically presumed NAR compared to the supine position from 0 ° to 10 °. However, the tests have important limitations, with a high risk of bias. Insufficient evidence is available to draw definitive conclusions about other outcomes or to compare alternate semi-recumbent positions. Adverse events, particularly venous thromboembolism, were insufficiently reported.
